Finding a place to stay can be difficult - you don't know the city or the areas, and you may be unfamiliar with the costs involved.

Richmond Place:

 

Facilities provided: Ensuit bathroom (toilet, shower and washbasin), Resnet (University Internet), ultilities (water, electricity and heating), Basic furniture (desk, chairs, lamp, telephone, pedestal, bed, bookshelf and cupboard), cleaning service (kitchen daily, rooms once a week), coin-op laundry service (£1 for wash and £1 for 30 minute dry), vending machines for late night snacks

 

Pros: Safe environment (security at gates after 11pm until 7am), friendly staff, porter services to collect your mail and parcels while you're out), close to Moray House, Main Library and shops, PC Facilities until 11pm (with printers), occasional free/cheap dinners in common room, tv in every kitchen (dvd machines available), dvds for rent (20p each, no new titles), cooking utensils and basic cooking appliances available.

 

Cons: Rooms are too small, most rooms have no view, noisy floorboard in the corridors, possible loud neighbours, if one decides to move out before contract expires, he/she needs to find a person to take over their room.
